Fujitsu wins Irish government IT services contract

The Revenue Commissioners, the tax and customs authority in Ireland, has awarded a two year contract to Fujitsu Services for ICT services and support.

Dublin (eNewsWire) 12 December 2007 – Fujitsu Services, a leading European supplier of IT services and consultancy, will provide strategic ICT architecture and maintain quality assurance for the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland. The deal is worth 3m Euros and includes the option of a one-year extension.

Fujitsu and Revenue have a working relationship dating back several years in which the IT services firm has helped establish a number of infrastructure needs for the public services department.

Fujitsu Services has a widespread presence in Ireland, with an operation that includes more than 600 staff and a successful history in providing IT solutions and services to several public and private sector businesses and departments.
