Intermec (NYSE:IN) has announced that registration is now open for its annual EMEA Developers Conference being held on 28-29 October, 2008 in Bad Bramstedt, Germany.
Sponsored by Cisco, Wavelink, and others this educational conference for the Intermec partner and customer community gives attendees a chance to learn more about Intermec developer tools through two days of learning, networking, and inspiration. The conference offers attendees their first opportunity to learn about coding and participate in hands-on development of applications for the cutting-edge new Intermec CK3 rugged mobile computer.
The conference programme includes a diverse range of information-rich sessions designed to share tools, tips and technologies for setting up, integrating, deploying and managing Intermec devices. Each session is led by experts from Intermec, or a supporting organisation, who will tackle the most topical development issues in AIDC.
Conference session topics include
• Signature capturing with receipt and label printing
• Programming for location-based services
• Mobile system management
• Building context aware applications

As well as the seminars, developers will benefit from one-to-one sessions with Intermec engineers that will enable them to significantly enhance their respective applications.
All sessions will be conducted in English and the event takes place at the Mercure Hotel , Bad Bramstedt, Germany on 28th & 29th October, 2008. Developers who register for the event by 22 October will qualify for an early bird discount of $200 (£113/€143) on the standard conference fee of $699n(£396/€502).
