WebCertain, the multilingual search agency, hosted its second International Search Summit at the British Library, London, which took place on Thursday 20th November.
The event featured an impressive line-up of experts from around the world who tackled some of the current ‘hot’ topics facing international marketers. Speakers included: Stephanie Kidder of Avid Technology; Alex Burmaster of Nielsen Online, Eugene Lomize of Yandex, Ed Pushman of Microsoft, Christer Pettersson of Eniro, Shari Thurow of Omni Marketing Interactive, Michael Beck of Divolution, Anne Kennedy of Beyond Ink and Andy Atkins-Krüger from hosts WebCertain.
“Our International Search Summit was once again a great success, with delegates attending from around the world. It proves that there is a growing need for international search marketers to gain a greater understanding in this specialised and fast-changing area,” comments Andy Atkins-Kruger, Managing Director of WebCertain. “As the credit crunch continues to bite and European companies seek to explore overseas markets, we expect to see a continued growth in demand for international search expertise.”
WebCertain will stage another summit in London next May which will focus on global social networking and also has plans to host Search Summit in other countries. To find out more, visit www.internationalsearchsummit.com
