The next annual Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference and Expo has been scheduled for 20th March 2009 and has already got a great line-up of speakers from Google, Yahoo, IBM, Dmoz, Receptional and many more.
The conference will be taking place in the centre of Reykjavik, Iceland, at the Hilton Reykjavik Hotel. Guests will be able to choose from two tracks: ‘Business’ and ‘Hands-on Workshop’.
This event is organised by Arvakur and Nordic eMarketing, companies situated in Iceland, but both involved in international business mainly concerning Internet marketing, search engine optimisation, Internet consulting and press.
The upcoming conference will, amongst other things, deal with the problems of search engine positioning, Internet advertising versus traditional advertising, creating websites and their architecture. Guests will also be given advice on how to choose a digital agency for dissemination of online press releases.
More than 300 people attended the last conference and gave great reviews through the conference poll. Presentations from participants of this year’s conference in February can be downloaded at the website www.rimc.is/en, where links to blogs of the main speakers are also available.
The conference moderator is the director and founder of Nordic eMarketing, Kristjan Mar Hauksson, who is also (together with Ingvar Hjalmarsson from MBL/Arvakur) the conference chairman.
