The annual Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference and expo (RIMC) has been scheduled for 20th March 2009 and will showcase a wider cross section of the industry than ever before.
RIMC is organised by two international Icelandic companies with great internet marketing, search engine optimisation and press experience: Nordic eMarketing and Arvakur.
The internet marketing conference will be held at the comfortable Reykjavik Hilton Hotel. The conference has upgraded its venue this time around in a show of confidence fuelled by the over 300 participants who took part last year and gave overwhelmingly positive online feedback.
Among the impressive list of confirmed speakers at March’s conference are Adam Lasnik from Google, Pauline Ores of IBM and Receptional’s Dixon Jones. Nike’s European Marketing Manager, Sion Portman will also speak, as will Ben Chapman from the BBC.
As one of the hosts, Nordic eMarketing’s Kristjan Mar Hauksson will participate as a moderator and Q&A answerer in several of the day’s sessions. Kristjan is a leading expert in the field of online marketing and SEO, and is an in-demand conference speaker on the international circuit.
RIMC 2009 will be split into five distinct sessions, including a workshop. The sessions cover the diverse fields of youth marketing, search engine optimisation, social marketing and internet technology, online reputation and PR.
