Ericsson‘s Allen McCaskill – keynote speaker at RIMC 2009 in Reykjavik

Senior Director of Media for Ericsson Worldwide and Head of UK TV & Media Practice with 20+ years of experience in leading commercial digital development is one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference this March. Allen McCaskill has got excellent consultancy experience with commercial acumen from proposition development to successful delivery, predominately from within the broadcast, media, mobile and internet sectors.

Allen is going to focus especially on what are the key issues facing those using the Internet and other new media as marketing tools and how we can embrace the opportunities and overstep the technology barriers facing traditional marketers when adding the opportunities of the new media landscape.

With strong business development, account and commercial management experience Allen is underpinned by more than a decade of managing large multi-disciplined teams including sales, accounts, software developers, information architects, marketing and PR etc.

McCaskill has operated at Board level with accountability for full budgetary control, strategic sales/business development, personnel management and senior-level corporate consultancy development. This is accompanied by a strong entrepreneurial spirit tied to a deep technical knowledge of the design, development and production of sophisticated digital tools, products and services.
