Stephen Simpson a first year BA Photography student studying at Thames Valley University has had images exhibited at the New York Photo Festival. The images are both thought provoking and challenging covering topics such as the war in Afghanistan and the civil war in Sri Lanka.
This is not the first time that Stephen’s work has been recognised in the wider media. As a way of subsidising his studies Stephen works for a photo agency and has had his work published in a number of the national press titles in the UK.
Tony Nandi – Programme Leader, BA Photography & Digital Imaging (Ealing) said:
‘’Stephen has been a great example to his peers as to the level of commitment and energy that is required to be a successful photographer. Students such as him act as a wonderful catalyst for the cohort.’’
