Keflavik International Airport competition encourages shoppers

A new competition for passengers travelling through Iceland’s Keflavik International Airport is making airport shopping even more attractive than usual.

Everybody using Keflavik International Airport, the major mid Atlantic hub airport in Iceland, between 3rd June and 18th September can enter the massive competition offering fantastic holidays to Iceland with accommodation and lots of other goodies.

The winner of the final draw will walk away with flights to and from Iceland from any of Icelandair’s European and North American gateways, three nights’ accommodation and a pack containing all sorts of valuable products from shops at the airport.

For the chance to win, all passengers have to do is take advantage of the great value shopping in the departures hall at Keflavik. Simply spend over ISK 5,000 in the same shop to get an entry ticket to the competition.

Keflavik International Airport’s amazing holiday giveaway is available in all shops in the departures hall. Restaurants and cafés are also taking part with special offers which include a competition entry ticket.

In celebration of the grand competition (which offers different prizes to those who live in Iceland, for obvious reasons) passengers may notice summery touches all over the airport – with deckchairs, beach balls and a big sunshine prominent. There will also be a great photo opportunity for the kids where they can stick their heads through holes in a huge picture to become real members of the flight crew!

Parents are invited to email their photos in to Keflavik International Airport at sumarmyndir[at]kefairport.is for a chance to be entered into the competition.
