Tracey Welch, one of Sheffields most prominent and award-winning photographers, is launching an exhibition of her work at London’s Red Gate Gallery on 31 July. Welch, who holds a Master of Arts degree in Photography, will be showcasing a selection of her latest work inside the music industry.
‘I am so looking forward to this exhibition highlighting my love of music photography’, said Tracey. ‘It’s a great opportunity for people to see my work and also a great way to celebrate my fifth year in business with the launch of my new brand.’
Welch’s photographic portfolio includes commissions from top publications such as NME, Kerrang and Clash. She also works for Retna, one of the worlds leading picture agencies, and has photographed prestigious musicians such as Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Groove Armada, The Kooks, The Pigeon Detectives just to mention a few. Welch has also covered several music festivals including Glastonbury, V-Festival, Leeds, Reading and Download.
As a freelance photographer working in Sheffield and London, Welch’s career has grown rapidly, establishing her as an inspiring artistic photographer within the music industry.
Additionally, Daniel Rose Design who created the re-branding of Tracey Welch Photography, will be showing a selection of its work. Rose is the front man for the band Fugitives who will be playing a live set at an exclusive preview of the Show on Friday, 31 July 2009.
