Icelandair connecting flights across Europe and North America

Iceland’s airport has been referred to as the central hub for travel within the Atlantic as Icelandair connect flights to over twenty destinations throughout North America, Continental Europe, Scandinavia and the UK. This helped contribute to Keflavik International Airport being appointed the best airport in Europe for the first 9 months of 2009 in the Airports Service Quality survey, conducted by the Airport Council International (ACI).

With around 130 airports taking part, ACI’s prestigious survey is the world’s leading airport customer satisfaction standard. Specified within the passenger survey, travellers described Keflavik International Airport as comforting, cosy and with a friendly atmosphere.

Much of the traffic passing through Iceland’s International airport is due to Icelandair’s excellent service, flying people into Iceland and on to other destinations with connecting flights from Europe to North America.

Icelandair, just like Keflavik Airport, offers a comforting, cosy and friendly atmosphere on all flights, making sure that the journey is a pleasant and relaxing one. Every flight provides each passenger with plenty of leg space, complimentary drinks, a range of snacks and also free access to the touch screen in-flight entertainment system situated in the back of each headrest for ease of use. The entertainment system allows access to a wide selection of movies, programmes, computer games and music.
