APS Group has acquired three Xerox Nuvera 144 MX Digital Production Systems, a Xerox 4112 Enterprise Printing System and a Xerox DocuColor 5000 Digital Press which will sit alongside two existing Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Presses. The new devices will provide APS with greater capacity to handle new print jobs and will equip the business with the right technology to develop new markets such as transactional printing.
APS will now be able to meet all customer requirements whether they are long-run lithographic jobs or fast-turnaround short run, personalised digital colour and black & white documents.
Rick Snelson, deputy mnaging director, said: “We are excited about the new opportunities that are now in reach through our recent investment. Having worked with Xerox in the past, we are aware of its leadership in the digital print market and the importance it places on innovation in technical development. Machines, such as the Nuvera 144, not only give us the capacity to take on new business but they also have a future-proofed platform to offer our customers new capabilities.”
Peter Taylor, director & general manager, Large Enterprise & Graphic Communications, Xerox UK, added, “We are building on our existing relationship with APS Group and continue to support them as their business grows and expands. With a range of state-of-the-art Xerox digital print technology at APS’s fingertips, it is fully equipped for the push into new markets.”
