New workshops: Learn how Social CRM can strengthen customer relationships, by DMC Software

With the rising importance of social media, businesses need to keep up with the various social avenues in order to remain fully competitive. In response, a new series of Social CRM Workshops are being hosted by DMC Software Solutions, leading Sage (UK) Business Partner and Overall Sage Circle of Excellence Winner 2009.

Social Media has changed the way customers engage with brands, with many customers now trusting brands less and the opinions of their online peers more. Therefore, to remain competitive in this “Digital Age” organisations need to change the way they engage with their customers and prospective customers, says DMC Software.

Mike Ramsay, Managing Director of DMC Software said, “As a business owner I know customer service is vital to the success of a business and I believe that Social Media can be used to extend the customer service offered by an organisation and improve the customer experience. Social Media facilitates a two-way dialogue between a business and its customers allowing any potential issues to be addressed quickly and effectively.

“Social Media is something that most of us are familiar with in our personal lives but now that Social Media has entered the realms of the business world there are few businesses that truly embrace it. Our Social CRM Workshops in September have been designed to provide businesses with a better understanding of Social Media, demonstrating how Social CRM can be used to inform and improve marketing activity, and develop stronger customer relationships.”

Social CRM is a customer relationship management (CRM) solution with the ability to leverage social media, such as ACT! by Sage, Sage CRM and SalesLogix. Information from social media channels populates the CRM database informing the sales and marketing process. Through an effective Social CRM strategy meaningful relationships can be developed leading to long term customer loyalty.

DMC Software Solutions are hosting a series of Social CRM workshops, with the aim of demystifying Social Media and identifying how Social CRM can be used to complement existing customer strategy.
