This came at a time when the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Mr. Richard Aisuebeogun, said such an innovation was capable of driving development of the air transport industry in the country.
Managing Director of the company, Timi Agama, who disclosed this at the launch of the initiative, tagged TEXT2FLY, in Lagos, said passengers could get all flight schedules by merely texting the location of the flights and time to 33057.
Agama affirmed that with the newly introduced product, passengers could get all their needed information about flights schedule at the appropriate time.
“All that you need to do as a passenger or prospective air traveller is to send a simple SMS text message in your mobile phone specifying the time and the location that you are going to travel to 33057.”
