Virtual Internet rolls out new website and products

Virtual Internet, the first UK web host to concurrently offer both Xen and VMware cloud servers has announced a revamped website along with new hosting deals, including collocation packages.

The new website has been completely redesigned from the ground up to emphasise Virtual Internet’s pedigree as a leading cloud provider, which was strengthened by the recent unveiling of Xen Sandbox Cloud servers over the festive season.

The Xen Sandbox Servers allow a company to safely test and deploy mission critical apps, using the latest Xen virtual dedicated servers. The Xen servers complement Virtual Internet’s heavyweight VMware Enterprise cloud servers, which have been selling strongly in 2010.

The new website includes a YouTube educational channel along with a heavyweight blog designed to keep decision-makers informed of the latest virtual dedicated server and collocation developments.

Further social networking channels have been added to the website, including Facebook and Twitter, which on a daily basis highlight new cloud, dedicated server and collocation deals.

In some cases, customers may benefit from server discounts of up to 50% if they sign up for annualised contracts.

“In addition to our cloud offerings, we can also offer a new set of collocation packages which can be used to extend your cloud footprint,” said Yana Kryuchkova, Marketing Manager, Virtual Internet.

“Notwithstanding the fact that we own some of the most sophisticated data centres in the UK, we also have our own 10,000 square foot data centre in London. The centre has redundant power, air conditioning and multiple data carriers to ensure an ALWAYS UP environment,” she said.

“Collocation is currently an extremely attractive option for overburdened IT departments who wish to simplify there operations and leverage the existing security, power and network capability of a data center run by an advanced web hosting company,” she said.

Every single collocation and cloud-based offering is backed-up by round-the-clock 24/7 VI-tal support manned by the best customer service personnel and engineers in the business.

VI-tal support ‘never sleeps’ and offers complete peace of mind to an IT decision-maker pondering remote web hosting packages for their company.
