The partners of Hacker Halted have received praise for their contributions during the preparation of the upcoming hacker prevention and computer security event in Iceland, which will be the first Hacker Halted event to take place in Europe.
According to the event’s organisers, Hacker Halted’s partners have played an important role in the days leading up to the conference, showing widespread support for the first Hacker Halted event to take place in Europe; these partners include Vodafone, KPMG, Microsoft, Advania, and Capacent.
This year’s event will be featuring renowned speakers and industry experts who will be discussing the current digital security threats, as well as the various means of protection and countermeasures in dealing with these threats.
Additionally, running alongside the two-day event will be the Hacker Halted Academy. The Academy is a selection of ethical hacker certification courses run by top training companies and led by well-respected instructors.
Each course during the Hacker Halted Academy is recognised by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council), including Certified Ethical Hacker, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator, Certified Security Analyst, Advanced Penetration Testing, Advanced Mobile Hacking & Forensics, Advanced Network Defense, Hacking Secure Encryption and Countermeasures, Securing Windows Infrastructure, and CISSP®.
Hacker Halted Europe will be taking place on 7th and 8th October 2013 at the HARPA Conference Centre in Reykjavík, Iceland.
