Best Global Prepaid Gift Programme shortlists Valitor and PRESEND loyalty card

The 2014 Emerging Payment Awards has shortlisted the MasterCard/Visa-based gift and loyalty card, City Center Card, a joint venture between Valitor and PRESEND.

Valitor, the Iceland-based international card payment services provider and PRESEND are shortlisted together in the category, Best Global Prepaid Gift Programme. The City Center Card is a private label program, and the first of its kind being offered in Sweden. The card is the only product on the market that can claim 100% merchant coverage, the single requirement being that the merchant accepts MasterCard/Visa cards.

Executive Director – Marketing & Development at Valitor, Kristjan Hardarson, explains, “As Valitor and PRESEND are taking our business into new territories, international recognition of our joint programs will help speed growth and inspire us to create even more innovative solutions.”
