Tensor plc, the UK based award winning market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of smart card access control, time & attendance and building management systems have launched their latest Winta.NET security system. It integrates the next-generation of Herta facial recognition software – the best facial recognition system in the world.
A long-time technology partner of Tensor, Herta Security is a developer of cutting-edge facial recognition solutions, with fast, accurate, robust, end-customer oriented algorithms ad software. The new system is perfect for video surveillance and tracking, access control, and commercial marketing management.
The system can dynamically compare images of individuals from incoming video streams, of varying quality, against specific databases and send immediate alerts when positive matches occur. It also quickly manages real-time multi-recognition of faces in highly crowded environments.
The latest software combines the previous separate applications of BioSurveillance, BioMarketing, BioFinder, etc. into one consolidated product, designed to fit multiple purposes, whilst still maintaining a simple and intuitive user interface.
The new software has an amazingly high level of accuracy and is even able to analyse the 8K resolutions generated by the most high-end CCTV surveillance cameras. Its smart technology has in-built data analytics; detecting and estimating gender, age ranges and ethnicity – there will be more to follow later. The application is also able to conduct 35 million comparisons per second, making it the fastest system in the world.
Speaking at their HQ in Cambridgeshire, Ashley Smith, CEO of Tensor plc said, “Tensor and Herta have integrated a system that is well placed to manage the facial recognition security challenges facing all elements of commercial and national security”
