airBaltic Celebrates Third Season of its Internal Leadership Program

Riga, 22.09.2022 –  The Latvian airline airBaltic celebrates the start of the third season of its internal airBaltic Leaders for Future (ALFA) program in an educational and knowledge-sharing event on the future of work and emerging trends in employee retention and belonging. Joined by other local and international companies
representatives who shared their experience and insight, the event was organized for airBaltic employees –
program participants, trainers and internal coaches.

Alīna Aronberga, SVP Human Resources at airBaltic: “Over the years, ALFA program has become an
integral part of what we do here at airBaltic – learn, share and grow together. We are happy to come together
today in this event to celebrate already the third year of the program and engage in a meaningful experience
exchange and valuable discussions both with our employees and guests.”

airBaltic Leaders for Future (ALFA) program is a tailor-made internal airBaltic learning and development
program, created to enable the airline employees to sharpen their skills and talents in order to reach their
career goals and contribute to the future success of the company.

Since the launch of the program in October 2020, it has grown significantly. Approximately 190 leaders and
high potential employees have enrolled in the ALFA Leadership Program so far. Meanwhile, airBaltic continues to offer learning opportunities to all its employees via ALFA Personal Development Program. In the first nine months since the program launch, around 150 employees have used the opportunity to attend one or more courses, varying from such topics as presentation skills and career development to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Advanced courses.
