New Chair of the Board joins the measurable.energy team

Wales, England, 18.07.2023- Experienced Chairperson and Non-Executive Director, Karen Bach, has been appointed Chair of the Board at a tech startup, measurable.energy. Technology background Karen has a wealth of experience across several industries, including software and hardware, health, media, telecommunications and more. She’s been a Non-Executive Chairperson and Director for numerous startups and scaleups, currently holding a Chair role at four different SMEs, spanning net zero, healthcare, media and digital advertising. Outside of this, she does a lot of mentoring, like supporting AI startups alongside the University of Oxford via the Creative Destruction Lab.

Entering a new phase of growth
In her role, Karen will be supporting CEO, Dr Dan Williams, guiding the company’s strategy and bringing the team together to eliminate all wasted energy in buildings. She’s on a mission to support the team to get their plug sockets, powered by machine learning in every commercial and residential building globally. Thrilled about her appointment, Karen commented:
