AI-Ready Performance for the Factory Floor
The UP Squared Pro TWL Edge stands out for its expansion capabilities and support for AI acceleration. In addition to multiple high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and AAEON’s signature 40-pin GPIO, the system offers both a SATA interface and an M.2 2280 M-Key, enabling support for AI accelerator modules such as the 25 TOPS DEEPX-powered DX-M1.
This configuration allows manufacturers to deploy advanced AI workloads at the edge—without the need for extensive infrastructure upgrades—making it a strong fit for next-generation industrial automation projects.
Meanwhile, the UP Squared TWL Edge, measuring just 95mm x 95mm x 55mm, emphasizes compatibility across generations of equipment, offering multiple USB ports, dual LAN, dual COM ports (RS-232/422/485), and flexible M.2 expansion for wireless connectivity and NVMe storage.
Compact Design Without Compromising Industrial I/O
The UP TWL Edge and UP TWLS Edge deliver powerful computing in extremely small footprints, measuring 92mm x 64mm x 45.2mm and 92mm x 77mm x 38.5mm, respectively. While the UP TWL Edge prioritizes simplicity and efficiency, the UP TWLS Edge adds enhanced industrial I/O, including an 8-bit GPIO, multiple USB ports, LAN, and serial communication—making it well suited for harsher industrial environments.

All four UP Edge PCs support Windows® 11, Ubuntu, and Yocto 5.1, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of industrial software stacks and development environments.
