The launch aligns with broader post-pandemic travel shifts, as solo travel among adults aged 30 to 66 continues to grow. Many now prioritise authentic local experiences over mass-market attractions.
“Sometimes you want quiet. Sometimes your travel companion wants something else. Sometimes you’re just travelling alone—and that should be fine,” Alexander said. “Everyone deserves access to the good stuff.”
Looking Ahead
Alexander sees the waitlist as just the beginning.
“My end goal is simple: never turning away a solo traveller,” he said. “If the booking tech doesn’t exist yet, I may have to build it myself. Until then, this is the next step.”
