The Adventure Company sets up a new department for private group departures

The Adventure Company has launched a new groups department following increased demand for private departures of its adventure holidays. The department allows customers to book holidays for private groups that fit with their own specific dates and requirements.

A team of group travel consultants is now available to help travellers plan their perfect departure from over 230 trips worldwide with themes including culture, wildlife, outdoors activities and trekking.

The private departures can be organised for any type of group including schools; specialist interest clubs and societies; scouts and guides; friends; families; corporate parties and incentive groups. For groups with specialist interests such as canoeing, photography or nature, private departures also allow itineraries to be adjusted to place more emphasis on their particular area of interest.

The Adventure Company is offering booking discounts on private group trips. Parties of between six and nine will receive a discount of £50 per person, while in parties of ten or more; one passenger will travel for free.

The Adventure Company’s new groups department is headed up by Antony Barton who comments: “Private group departures allow us to increase the flexibility of trips and give our customers exactly what they want. This is a great option for a group of friends or colleagues who might want to undertake a trekking trip in aid of a particular charity; or perhaps children, parents and grandparents wanting to travel on a specific date to mark a special anniversary or birthday.”

Private group departures can be organised on any of The Adventure Company’s Worldwide, Family or Adventure Collection trips.

Options range from trekking-based holidays to wildlife safaris, overland adventures or trips interacting with local communities.
