New Beach to open in Centre of England!

Great news – local entrepreneur , Stephen Hammon, has dug deep during the credit crunch to make a personal dream come true, and is currently constructing the most central beach in England, despite being a stone’s throw from the official centre of England in Meriden.

Over 40 jobs will be created with the opening of the brand new Heart of England Adventure Park & Beach Resort, on Saturday 18th July, just in time for the start of the Summer holidays.
1500 tonnes of sand are currently being put into place in order to create a unique new attraction for the West Midlands. A beautiful cove has been created using 10,000 tonnes of locally-sourced sandstone, which will surround the new feature complete with rides and attractions to create a brand new local Adventure Park with particular appeal to young families who can’t face the 4 hour round trip to the seaside.
