Norwegian social media experts to speak at Internet Marketing Conference in Iceland

9 March 2015:  Two respected internet marketing specialist from Norwegian circles will be speaking at the forthcoming Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference (#RIMC15); Meri Sørgaard & Kim Herlung, from SMFB Engine.

Kim Herlung has in-depth knowledge of strategic digital advertising solutions and communicating, having worked with such brands as Omnicom, Starcom, Mediacom, Disney, L’Oreal, Coca Cola, Carlsberg, Adidas & Nestlé, during his time as Nordic brand manager for Google. With a strong background in market research and analysis, Kim also has experience in product design, strategic marketing and business development, based in Oslo where he acts as agency director at SMFB Engine.

His colleague at SMFB and Manger of Social Media, Meri Sørgaard, has worked with clients such as IKEA, Freia, Orkla, Santander and Statoil and has a background in educational theory. She was recently voted the most passionate social media person in Norway and lead SMFB Engine to second place as the best social media agency.
They will be joined by a host of other experts in social media and networking, SEO and online brand marketing, such as Alex Moss, Peter Handley, Tejal Patel, Colette Easton and Theo Cooper.

The all day event takes place at the Hotel Reykjavik Natura from 10am on April 17th, with early bird discounted tickets 40% reduced before March 17th. Now in its 12th year RIMC is organised by The Engine, an Icelandic internet marketing company with clients worldwide.
