Riga – 12.04.2020 – Latvian airline airBaltic has received the highest ranking among Latvian brands in the European Sustainable Brand Index in the transport and travel sector. The study was conducted from December 2021 to February 2022, and it analysed how society’s attitudes towards sustainability affect branding, communication, and business development.
Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “It is a great honour to be recognized as the most sustainable brand in the transport and travel sector, as well as one of the most sustainable brands in Latvia overall. Sustainability is at the core of all the ways we work – how we do business, how we interact with people, how we care about the environment and introducing green practices wherever we can. Therefore, we see ourselves as an example of what we do in the world. We think greener, we fly greener.”
In 2021, Latvian airline airBaltic published its annual sustainability report, providing information of airBaltic and its subsidiaries performance in this segment for 2020. Full airBaltic sustainability report is accessible on the company’s website: https://bit.ly/37ooVtk.
