The AI Co-pilot for CEOs: Advise Lands $1.2M to Put a Virtual Financial Analyst in Every Norwegian SME

REYKJAVÍK / OSLO, 21.05.2026 – Advise, the financial intelligence platform, has announced a 166 million ISK ($1.2M USD) funding round to accelerate its expansion across the Nordics. The investment marks a pivotal move for the company as it launches its AI-driven decision-support tool in Norway and Sweden, featuring deep integrations with local market leaders Tripletex, PowerOffice, and Fortnox.

The funding round was led by holding company Skyggnir, bringing Advise’s total capital raised over the last two years to approximately $2.9 million (400m ISK). Alongside the investment, Ari Daníelsson, CEO of Skyggnir, has been appointed as Chairman of the Board.

Solving the Financial Insights Gap for Nordic SMEs

While most SMEs have transitioned to cloud accounting, many business leaders still struggle to gain actionable insights from their accounting system’s raw financial data. Advise bridges this gap by using Business Intelligence (BI) and Artificial Intelligence to analyze financials in real time, providing managers with a clear, intuitive roadmap for growth and business management.

To ensure immediate local relevance, Advise has prioritized seamless “plug-and-play” compatibility with the most dominant accounting systems in the region:

  • Norway: Tripletex, PowerOffice Visma eAccounting.
  • Sweden: Fortnox and Spiris
  • Denmark: E-conomic
  • Finland: Finago Procountor
  • Regional: Microsoft Business Central.

“We have built a dominant position in Iceland in a very short time, where 10% of all companies with more than 10 employees already use our solution,” says Mikael Arnarson, CEO of Advise. “The challenges facing managers in Oslo or Stockholm are identical to those in Reykjavík: the need for speed and clarity in decision-making. Our platform is now fully scaled and ready to serve the one million+ businesses operating on Nordic accounting systems.”

Strategic Hub in Stockholm

As part of this growth phase, Advise has established an office in Stockholm and is expanding its local presence in the Nordics, with new sales hires to be announced in the coming weeks. This move signals a shift from a local success story to a regional contender, targeting a market roughly 50 times larger than Iceland’s.

“Advise has proven its product-market fit by becoming an essential tool for over 1,000 Icelandic executives,” says newly appointed Chairman Ari Daníelsson. “With this new capital, we are moving from proof-of-concept to aggressive regional scaling. I look forward to working closely with the management team to accelerate our footprint across the Nordics.”
